Apartment Hunting

This morning we just returned from the beaches of Miami, Florida where we are planning on moving and were apartment hunting. On Friday, August 8th, 2003, we had looked at every apartment in the area... he had not yet seen the ocean or the beaches, all of which I have seen before. I had literally dragged him into the last one when I noticed he was beginning to get a bit exhausted. After leaving the apartment, he took the keys and started driving, not back to our campground, but just east... towards the beach. Although it was still drizzling, and the sun was beginning to set, I didn't dare question his motives as I felt so bad for having dragged him to all those apartments. We discovered a very secluded beach, with palm trees and the perfect ocean view... and as the sun was setting and the rain falling above us... he got down on one knee, confessed his love to me and then, asked me to marry him... "Yes!" I cried out with tears rolling down my cheeks... yes, I agreed to marry him!
